Buffalo Road

Buffalo Road

Originally formed in 1990, country rockers Buffalo Road released 2 singles and 2 albums on Backwater Records between 1993 and 1995. Branded "indie road music" they achieved UK wide radio play including Radio 1 and good reviews in Vox and Q magazines.

The original line up reformed for a performance on the BBC Radio Suffolk stage for Ipswich Music Day in 2011.

Reformed with a new line up in 2014. it features the original songwriting team of Mike Summers (vocals/guitar) and Gary Keeble (bass), the album was recorded over a 2 year period on vintage equipment and also saw Buffalo Road re unite with Backwater Records and producer Steve Mann.

The Latest Album "Whole New Silence" sat on the Backwater Records shelf on it's completion in 2016 and while Buffalo Road are currently pursuing separate ventures it makes a worthy companion to their catalogue.
